For more than two decades, the 3M Harvest Lunch has been more than just an event—it's a cherished tradition that signals the beginning of the United Way fundraising season. As a steadfast supporter of United Way chapters across Canada, 3M Canada is deeply committed to enriching the communities where our employees live and work. Through generous personal and corporate donations, as well as dedicated volunteerism, 3M is making a tangible difference in Canadian communities.
This year, the 3M Harvest Lunch once again brought warmth and hope to Brockville, St. Thomas, and London, Ontario. In a time when the cost of food and living continues to rise, this event not only bolsters the United Way campaign and its funded agencies but also provides 4,000 nourishing meals to individuals who might otherwise go without.
The heart of this initiative lies in the spirit of volunteerism. Over 130 enthusiastic 3M Canada employees eagerly lined up to lend a hand, contributing more than 500 hours of volunteer service. Throughout September, these dedicated volunteers prepared and delivered meals across the Elgin Middlesex and Leeds and Grenville communities in Ontario, embodying the true essence of community support.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to United Way Elgin Middlesex and United Way Leeds & Grenville for their unwavering partnership in uplifting our communities.
For those inspired to make a difference, we encourage you to reach out to your local United Way branch to learn more about how you can contribute. Together, we can continue to build stronger, more resilient communities.
